Agrotechnological Research in Ivory Coast

The results of a mission by the International Service for National Agricultural Research (ISNAR) to assess the state of agrotechnological research in the Ivory Coast are presented in the report. The report discusses the current role of agrotechnological research in the Third World. Recommendations are to: create agrotechnological research and development units within public, joint venture, and private agro-food enterprises; carefully select research resources and themes; and create a single, public technical/scientific pool.
