摘要

This preliminary regulatory impact assessment evaluates the likely economic impact of the proposed OSHA regulation governing product safety testing and certification. The proposed regulation would increase the number of testing labs that would be acceptable to OSHA as a recognized testing facility. This assessment estimates that the first year costs to the affected parties would be between $1 million to $2 million and the annual costs would be between $575,000 and $1.15 million.
