Benefits of Early Intervention for Special Children

The early intervention program is a program that serves young special children exist throughout the country. One of the primary federal funding sources for demonstration projects aimed at developing more and better services has been the Handicapped Children's Early Education Program (HCEEP). Part B of this section contains brief descriptions of current HCEEP programs endorsed by the Department of Education's Joint Dissemination Review Panel (JDRP).
