Archeological Testing for Package 146, Extension of the Waterline, Fort Necessity National Battlefield, Pennsylvania

摘要

This report presents the results of archaeological testing for the proposed waterline extension at Fort Necessity National Battlefield done to comply with NPS legal responsibilities for cultural resources. The findings were basically negative: this document serves as the final report. Several segments of the proposed line were not tested due to previous disturbance by the road construction. The line, however, has been redesigned and is now relocated some feet away from the road through areas not previously inpacted by construction.
