Diethylhexyl Phthalate (DEHP): Reproduction and Fertility Assessment in CD-1 Mice When Administered in the Feed

In consideration of the National Toxicology Program's (NTP) goal of test development and validation, NTP has devised a chemical toxicity testing scheme for reproduction and development that should prove to be cost-effective, sensitive and accurate. This test system has been designated 'Fertility Assessment by Continuous Breeding' and provides a mechanism for evaluating chemical effects on male and female reproduction with extended exposures. The objective of this contract effort is to validate and refine tune this test system.
