摘要

IR studies of H-bonding in simple alcohols (methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol, pentanol, octanol) and halogenated alcohols (2-fluoroethanol, 2-chloroethanol, 2-bromoethanol, 3-chloropropanol, 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol, 2-3-dibromopropanol) have been carried out at various temperatures and concentrations in carbon tetrachloride. Different types of equilibrium constants have been calculated. Thermodynamic parameters have been obtained for all these alcohols and mechanism of H-bonding in these systems have been explained on the basis of these parameters.
