Annual Housing Survey: 1982. Housing Characteristics for Selected Metropolitan Areas: Paterson-Clifton-Passaic, New Jersey. Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area

This report presents statistics on housing and household characteristics from the 1982 Annual Housing Survey for the Peterson-Clifton-Passaic, N.J., Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area (SMSA). The SMSA sample consisted of 4,250 households selected from units enumerated in the 1970 census and updated to include units constructed since then. Separate data are shown for central cities and the outlying areas. The first part deals with general housing characteristics. These data, as in the other parts, are further broken down by race. The second part deals with housing and neighborhood quality, the third with financial characteristics, the fourth with recent mover households, and the fifth with cross-tabulations. A total of 66 tables are presented for central cities, 66 for outlying areas, and another 96 for total households. Maps, table-finding guides, and a sample questionnaire are provided.
