Proceedings of the Gas Research Institute/Municipal Gas Systems Advisory Committee Distribution Workshop Held on December 8-9, 1982, New Orleans, Louisiana

The Distribution Workshop sponsored by GRI and its Municipal Gas System Advisory Committee (MGSAC) was held to identify research needs and highlight R&D initiatives to improve gas distribution operation and maintenance activities and to recommend modifications to existing procedures for identifying relevant new research initiatives. Recommendations pertaining to more near-term projects were also evaluated based on their potential benefit to the gas industry and gas ratepayers and the probability of technical and commercial success. Seven R&D projects were put on a high-priority basis and were funded by GRI in 1983, and ten more are being funded in 1984.
