The historic structures report on the Ironmaster's house is a revision of a report published in January 1965. In contrast to the earlier report Dessauer's publication recommends preserving the existing structures rather than restoring them. With the completion of construction work in late 1980, it was necessary to upgrade the HSR. The addendum and notesin the report are based on correspondence, submittals, and change orders during the construction work.
