Surface Water Hydrology, Water Quality, and Aquatic Life of the Yampa River Basin, Colorado-Wyoming: A Data Summary

This document provides a summary of the available surface water hydrology, water quality, and aquatic life data for the Yampa River Basin of Colorado and Wyoming. This report is intended to provide a reference document for regulators, developers, and others who may be involved in the study of aquatic ecosystems within the region. More than 110 documents were reviewed during the compilation of this report and those that contained pertinent data are summarized. Two sections of the report are concerned with data deficiencies and reference stream recommendations. These sections should be useful in the design and implementation of future studies within the region.
