Circulation Statistics from January and July. Simulation with the NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research) Community Climate Model (CCMOB)

Horizontal maps and meridional cross sections of selected circulation statistics are presented for 1200 day perpetual January and July simulations with the NCAR Community Climate Model (CCMOB). These circulation statistics are provided for two purposes. The first is to provide prospective model users with a brief, concise summary of the climate produced by the model. The second is to demonstrate that the climate produced by this version of the model (CCMOB) matches that produced by an earlier version (CCMOA) with a completely independent code. The original history files in the form of TBM data sets are available for additional examination and are listed herein.
