Grandparents' Role in the Divorce Process

摘要

The effects of the high divorce rate on the family status of grandparents was examined. Situations where divorce restored content to their children and grandchildren and others where grandparents were isolated and deprived of needed supports were studied. The role of the divorcing parents as facilitators or impediments to relationships between grandparents and grandchildren was also studied.
