摘要

The National Acid Precipitation Assessment Program has planned a series of assessments to analyze the costs and benefits of various approaches to deal with the impacts of acidic deposition. The first of these assessments, to be completed in 1985, will focus on the extent of current damages (both physical and economic) due to acidic deposition. This report describes the results of a planning workshop, held in April 1983, whose purpose was to define the objectives of the 1985 assessment with respect to forest and aquatic resources, and to achieve a common understanding among participants of alternative assessment approaches.
