Water and Salt Regimes of Soils: Modeling and Management

摘要

Mathematical models describing the migration of moisture and salts in the soil layers are presented in this book. The region between the exposed surface and the water-confining stratum, the aeration and total saturation zones have been examined, and the influence of pressure heads is studied. A mathematical description of the processes of heat and mass transfer helps in resolving certain problems related to water-salt regime management in amelioration and exploitation of irrigation projects.
