Exclusive Economic Zone of the United States: Some Immediate Policy Issues

In response to NACOA's legislative mandate, Public Law 95-63, to undertake a continuing review of national oceanic and atmospheric policies, the Committee has examined several issues resulting from the Proclamation of March 10, 1983, which established the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the United States. This report presents NACOA's current views on implementing legislation and on other EEZ issues that merit attention.
