Horticultural Products - Tropical Fruit and Products Trade Statistics in Selected Countries

Fresh and processed products covered in this publication include avocados, bananas, cashew apples, guaves, kiwifruit (Chinese gooseberries), mangoes, mangosteens, papayas, pineapples, plantains and tamarinds. Trade Statistics are limited to major exporting and importing countries and include all of the above commodities. World trade in fresh and processed tropical fruit products has remained fairly stable in recent years. The US continues to be a significant factor in this commerce, both as an exporter and as an importer, although US imports far outweigh exports of these products.
