Development of Innovative Electroflotation Water Purification System for Single Families and Small Communities

Both conventional and existing innovative package water treatment plants suitable for use by single families and small communities are reviewed and discussed. A new package plant (Kraft Sand float Type 0.5) consisting of flocculation, electro flotation, sand filtration and UV disinfection is developed specifically for single families, apartments and camping sites. This cabinitized plant is 0.9 n x 0.6 m x 1.8 m high in size, and can treat 500 gallons per day of water continuously and automatically. The applications of Sand float plants include: well water treatment, lake water treatment and acid rain control Emergency water supply facilities are also introduced.
