The report presents a description of studies that were performed during the past contract year. The principal effort focused on vaccine evaluations in human volunteers, humoral and cell-mediated immune responses of aqueous and liposomal viral glycoproteins of parainfluenza virus 3 in animal models, and pathogenesis studies of parainfluenza virus 3 in children.
