摘要

Technical concepts capable of measuring ambient methane concentrations (1.6 ppm) at high frequency (>5 Hz) were developed, evaluated, and tested in the laboratory. The technique selected for laboratory testing was a multipass infrared absorption measurement on the 3.3 micrometers fundamental band of methane. A spatial filter spectral correlation method capable of removing interference for variable levels of atmospheric water vapor was designed and experimentally demonstrated.
