Director's Technology/Information Transfer Program (Water Resources Research Institute, Oregon State University), 1983-1984

The Oregon Water Resources Research Institute is the focal point for a wide range of inquiries and requests for assistance. The Institute has responded by carrying out a program of technology/information transfer. This has been accomplished by means of seminars, workshops, technical reports, news releases, field site visits, office visits, telephone calls, mail, and committee work. In particular, special efforts have been made to provide public seminars on water policy and management issues, to conduct two interuniversity faculty workshops on university capabilities in water planning and water policy issues, and to assist state agencies in their response to legislative activities involving hydropower site assessments and strategic water planning.
