Dynamic Approach to Embankment Construction Control

摘要

The information contained in the report puts the concepts stated in the research proposal in perspective with the current state of the art in geotechnical engineering. The results of a finite element analysis are reported relating embankment stresses and movements to compactive effort and moisture content. Conclusions and recommendations are made regarding further research in the area of compaction and embankment performance.
