Feasibility Study: Excursion Boat and Floating Restaurant, Arkansas River, North Little Rock, Arkansas

The report describes the findings and conclusions of a feasibility study prepared for a prospective excursion boat and river restaurant contemplated for a site on the Arkansas River in downtown North Little Rock. While it is possible that both facilities would be contained in a single river complex, the Feasibility Study has been prepared with the concept that the two are distinct facilities, each entirely free-standing and independent of the other, capable of being owned and operated by two separate entities, and possibly being developed under separate time schedules. One facility would be an excursion boat moored at a docking facility at the river's edge and designed for cruises on the Arkansas River and through the locks of nearby dams. The other facility would be a floating restaurant permanently moored in a fashion that would allow it to move only up and down with the changing elevation of the river. Two lines of inquire are inherent in a feasibility study of the type described herein. One is the market analysis and the other is the determination of economic feasibility.
