The Western Archeological and Conservation Center serves as a repository for collections belonging to field areas located in the arid western United States. The repository program includes curatorial services, a conservation laboratory, and a research library with archives. The repository programs are the primary mission of the Center. The plan describes the cultural resources at the Center, discusses deficiencies, and provides project statements and support documents to correct critical needs. Also included is a Scope of Collections Statement for collections belonging to the Center and a Collection Management Plan for all collections in the repository.
