Project to Review and Describe Mental Health Activities Directed at Chronically Mentally Ill Minority Individuals in CSP (Community Support Program) Funded States

The project reviewed and described specific mental health activities directed at chronic mentally ill minorities in CSP funded states. Four states: Colorado, New Jersey, Washington State, Wisconsin, were selected for indepth review. Mental health systems were evaluated with regard to policy commitment, resources allocated, available minority professionals, and accessibility of the system to minorities. Recommendations were provided by the contractor and are part of the review.
