摘要

The report addresses the development of new numerical techniques applicable to three-dimensional stratified fluid flows containing internal hydraulic jumps. The primary focus of the research is the investigation of how certain methods for continuous stratified flows could be modified and extended using classical gas dynamics numerical techniques so as to be applicable to discontinuous flow problems. The basic principle underlying this approach is the well-known shallow water wave, gas dynamics analogy.
