The book presents papers on the theoretical and technological aspects of inorganic and organosilicate coatings. The papers have been grouped under seven special subjects: (1) General aspects of the formation of coatings; (2) Spray coatings; (3) Coatings obtained by diffusion impregnation method; (4) Coatings applied by fusion method; (5) Short-term effective coatings; (6) Low-temperature protective coatings; (7) Structure and properties of coatings. These papers highlight the theoretical principles, mechanisms, phase relationships, and phase composition of various protective coatings used in industry.
