Data Base for Early Postfire Succession on the Sundance Burn, Northern Idaho

摘要

The report provides baseline data on secondary plant succession and the development of plant species and life forms for the initial 6 to 15 years following a stand-replacing forest fire in the western redcedar-western hemlock type in northern Idaho. Information pertaining to plant cover and volume of space occupied is useful for evaluating forest species response to severe fire treatment and for analytical use in wildlife habitat and fire management planning, modeling early seral forest development, and other forest management application.
