Spatial Analysis of Michigan Department of Public Health Nitrate Data

Michigan Public Health Department water quality data from groundwater municipal sources and location identifiers were input to a database management system. Well locations and average nitrate values were extracted from the database in three time periods and input to a surfacing (contouring) routine that interpolated the data to yield pictures of trends in nitrate contamination over time and space.
