Alternative Methodologies for Evaluating the Impact of Antitrust Immunity on the Motor Carrier Industry

The study includes the history of antitrust immunity for collective ratemaking; issues requiring additional research; an assessment of the available data sources, including surveys done for previous related work; an overview of the methodologies that have been used to address different aspects of trucking deregulation, particularly those dealing with rates; and methodologies developed in this study that could be used in research efforts dealing with issues identified in the report.
