The following data is tabulized from Census: autos per household, trucks or vans owned and travel time to work. The actual figures from the 1980 Census as regards total population, number of autos owned, number of trucks or vans owned and number of workers using each means of transportation to work, among other topics is also presented. The information can be used by planners to investigate trip-making behavior at the household level, identify travel trends, establish rates of growth, and cross-check other information sources. The report will probably be most interesting to transportation planners.
