Methodology for the Assessment of Truck Lane Needs in the Texas Highway Network

摘要

The principal accomplishments of the study are the development of a powerful network modelling methodology for the analysis, identification and selection of candidate links in the Texas state highway network for the construction of special truck lanes. The methodology also allows the identification of the type of operations for these additional lanes in conjunction with the existing ones.
