The book describes the theoretical principles of the materials technology for electrical appliances used in aviation instrumentation. Major attention has been paid to the structure and properties of metals and alloys used in modern aviation instrumentation. The authors have elaborated the relationship between the structure and physicochemical properties of alloys. Various methods of developing special properties in alloys have been described. A considerable part of the book has been devoted to the study of special-purpose alloys such as soft and hard magnetic materials, ferrites, alloys with special thermal and electrical properties, and semiconductors.
