摘要

The purpose of the research was to determine what maximum tensile strength of bonded rebar dowels used to anchor a replacement concrete bridge barrier sound wall system to bridge deck overhangs could be provided during the seismic loading of a severe earthquake. In the report, the results of fatigue tests performed on thirty-one number 6 rebar dowels bonded using either portland cement grout or magnesium phosphate concrete in a simulated bridge deck overhang are presented and discussed.
