Overview of Ethnohistorical and Archeological Resources of the Proposed Reservoir Locations for the San Jacinto Project, Montgomery and San Jacinto Counties, Texas

The construction of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation's San Jacinto Project reservoir in either of two proposed locations would impact many cultural resources. The report provides a brief review and description of the existing ethnohistorical and archeological data for the upper Texas coast in general and the San Jacinto area specifically. Regional research objectives for the upper Texas coast are presented.
