How to No. 1. Establish Boundaries for National Register Properties

A listing of hypothetical examples which can serve as a reference in determining National Register boundaries. While the report does not address all of the factors that influence the selection of boundaries, the guidelines isolate some of the major qualities of buildings, structures and sites that should be addressed when determining the boundaries of the nominated property. Since most properties nominated to the National Register are complex in nature, a combination of these factors should be taken into account.
