In-Depth Survey Report: Control Technology for Chemical Process Unit Operations at ICI Americas Inc., Bayport, Texas

A survey of control technology for reducing ethylene-oxide (75218) exposures at ICI Americas Incorporated (SIC-2869), Bayport, Texas was conducted in March, 1984. The production process was located outdoors using tightly closed and highly automated process equipment. Ethylene-oxide storage and rail car loading were located to take advantage of the prevailing winds. A proprietary high integrity protective system monitored the production process.
