The 'In-Country TEFL/Crossover Tropical Agricultural Training Manual' has been designed for trainees coming to Thailand without stateside agricultural training. While it has been developed for the training of TEFL/Crossovers, the vast majority of sessions are appropriate for other Peace Crops programs in Thailand. The Tropical Agriculture Training Program is like a school agricultural program in microcosm; it exists for education. The agricultural training detailed in the manual integrates a number of aspects of training. These 'components' refer to agriculture, Field Day, Crossover-specific skills, language skills, cross-cultural skills, personal orientation and role in development.
