The specification establishes the requirements for performance, design, test, and qualification of a computer program identified as the ALS VAX/VMS Symbolic Debugger (hereafter referred to as 'Debugger'), Computer Program Configuration Item (CPCI) Number 60. The Debugger provides interactive, symbolic debugging facilities for programs written in Ada and executing in the ALS environment. These facilities aid a user in localizing malfunctions in an Ada program by providing controlled, incremental execution of the program and the symbolic display of its state at various points.
