Defense Health Programs: Changes in Administration of Mental Health Benefits

The report contains information on the mental health care program under the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Services (CHAMPUS). Efforts were concentrated on the 60-day limitation. Because CHAMPUS has recently revised the administrative controls on some of its mental health benefits, information was obtained on these revisions.
