摘要

Two emission-measuring campaigns were carried out in coal-fired units of the Dutch Amer power station as a contribution to the Dutch National Coal Research Program (NOK). The results obtained during the campaign include data on (1) the composition of the fired coal (proximate and ultimate analyses; major, minor and trace elements), (2) the composition of flue gases (the gaseous elements and compounds O2, CO, CO2, NO, NOx, CxHy, H2O, HF, HCl, As, B, Br, Hg, Se and I, together with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and particulate loadings) and (3) the particle-size distribution and composition of the emitted fly ash (major, minor and trace elements). Rough emission estimates for the future (until the year 2000) are made for a number of scenarios, based on an expected increase of 1% per year in electric-power consumption. The future coal demand and the resulting emissions of SO2, NOx and fly ash are compared with their equivalent values in the past (1965-1984). The range of trace elements in fly ash emitted during the last five years is analyzed.
