The Fourth Advanced Coal Gasification Symposium, held in Suzhou, China in November 1986, was sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Gas Company and the Suzhou Municipal Gas Company. Opening and closing speeches, summaries of the technical sessions, and lists of delegates are included. Fifteen papers presented by the international delegation of specialists discuss current coal gasification processes and research and development activities.
