摘要

The thesis is concerned with methods for identification of systems behavior from available data in eutrophicated lakes, giving due account to assessment of uncertainties in view of prediction for management purposes. Although the emphasis is on methodology, application to real systems (shallow Dutch lakes, Lake Balaton in Hungary, and Lake Ontario) does, of course, also allow for conclusions about nutrient cycling, phytoplankton dynamics and possible eutrophication abatement schemes.
