Transverse Distribution of Loads in Box Girder Bridges. Volume 8. Augmentation of Lanell Program

Volume 2 of the series of reports included tables of influence coefficients and a source listing of the program LANELL, for determination of live load distribution factors for H- and P-series design vehicles. Subsequent usage of LANELL by Design revealed some significant parametric gaps in bridges commonly designed. A new research project was initiated to augment the tables, fill the gaps and modify the program as required. The project also had other objectives; however, the interim report is being issued to publish the augmented tables and revised program listing and to allow full-scale program implementation.
