The publication is designed to be used in conjunction with Federal Supply System Catalogs and selected publications produced by Federal Agencies. Volume 15, Federal Supply Catalog, Master Requirements Directory (MRD), is a publication listing requirement statements (questions) and replies (valid answers) to be used in developing meaningful and standard Federal Item Identification Guides (FIIGs) for the purpose of cataloging items of supply.
