Small-Scale Hydroelectric Power Plant for the City of Alamogordo, New Mexico

The Alamogordo hydroelectric plant project was initially funded by the New Mexico Energy Research and Development Program in the Spring of 1980. The study included the technical feasibility, turbine type selection, controls, installation and operational requirements; and an economic evaluation of the project.
