Light Scattering, Condensation Nuclei, and Air Mass Trajectories at Whiteface Mountain: Summers of 1983 and 1985

Experiments to measure the effects of anthropogenic aerosols on clouds and solar radiation were conducted during the summers of 1982, 1983, and 1985 at Whiteface Mountain, N.Y. The report presents aerosol scattering extinction and condensation nucleus data for the summers of 1983 and 1985. In addition, 10-day back trajectories with Whiteface Mountain as the destination are presented for the same time period. Similar data for the summer of 1982 were presented in a previous report.
