Millstone 3 Risk Evaluation Report: An Overall Review and Evaluation of the Millstone Unit 3 Probabilistic Safety Study

The report summarizes the results of the NRC staff's review of the Northeast Utilities' probabilistic safety study (PSS) on the Millstone 3 plant. The report presents the staff's insights with particular emphasis on dominant sequences. It provides a limited comparison of Millstone 3 with other plants, discusses potential plant vulnerabilities, and makes recommendations about additional protective measures. Conclusions drawn from the staff's review are discussed.
