As of February 21, 1986, tax return processing activities at the Philadelphia Service Center (PSC) were running smoother than they did a year ago. PSC had processed more returns and issued more refunds than it had at the same time last year. PSC also has more computer capacity than it did at this time last year, and computer programs are more efficient than they were in 1985.
