Program of Federal/State/Local Cooperative Weather Modification Research: Design Considerations. Part 2. Transport and Dispersion of Seeding Materials

The study is Part II of a two-part final report to the Weather Modification Program Office under NOAA contracted with Colorado State University through CIRA in 1980 for a systematic study to prepare the framework of a long-term research plan for the Federal/State Cooperative Research Programs being initiated in North Dakota and Utah. A follow-up planning analysis was started in September 1983 and completed in late 1985. The more recent supplemental analyses concentrated on aspects related only to Hypothesis Formulation and Testing and to Transport and Dispersion of Treatment Materials used in Weather Modification Programs.
