The foundation grouting programs of six large Bureau of Reclamation dams were reviewed and analyzed. The purpose of the program was to analyze the use of foundation grouting at Bureau of Reclamation structures to determine the effectiveness of the grout over the service life of the dams to date. Special attention was given to preconstruction geological conditions and changed or unexpected geological conditions discovered during the grouting activities. Recommendations are presented to improve future grouting operations.
